Zac Mills is the founder and head instructor of Maxwell Aviation.  He is a Navy Submarine Veteran who served for 9 years as a nuclear machinist mate. During his last few years he discovered a passion for aviation.

Prior to leaving the Navy, Zac trained to become a Commercial Pilot, and shortly after separating, a full time Certified Flight Instructor.  He began teaching and launched Maxwell Aviation part-time in 2024.  He currently has over 800 hours of flight instruction and counting.

Chris Hoffman is a co-owner of Maxwell Aviation. Chris is an Army Veteran who served for 5 years in the signal corps. He has a bachelors in Business and a Master’s in Computer Engineering.

Chris has a passion for flight and education.  He is a student pilot and is also an active member of the Bremerton EAA and Bremerton Pilots Association. Chris has also recently become a FAASTeam representative which allows him to provide WINGS eligible trainings for pilots.

Summer Beasley [Hoffman] is a co-owner of Maxwell Aviation.  Summer is a Teacher working with students with vision impairments.  She has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Special Education.

Summer has a passion for flight, community outreach, and mentorship. She is a student pilot and an active member of EAA, Bremerton Pilots Association, and the Greater Seattle Ninety-Nines.

Kaylee  began flying in 2018 and has continued to pursue her love for aviation ever since, earning her commercial and flight instructor certificates in 2024 and her Bachelor’s degree in Applied Management in 2025.

Kaylee has a passion for instrument flying and enjoys helping others develop their skills and confidence. She strives to make flight training safe, fun, and educational while sharing her enthusiasm for aviation with her students.

Originally from California, Madison grew up in the Pacific Northwest where she found her love for aviation. She pursued her private pilot license locally before continuing her advanced training in Florida.

Madison served as the president of the Greater Seattle 99's and continues to stay involved in her community participating in groups such as Angel Flight West and Pilots N Paws. She is a CFII with her commercial single and multi engine ratings with the plan of pursuing corporate aviation.
